VIP Ski-In/Ski-Out Condo in the Northstar Resort (ride to gondola in seconds)

Positive: Location Negative: Review for Apartment #4037, VIP Ski In Ski Out Condo in the Northstar California Resort Address: 4037 Ski View, Truckee, CA 96161, USA Our stay at this property was extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Even before checking in, I sent a message requesting to switch apartments after noticing there was no staircase or safe access to unit #4037. Unfortunately, no alternative was offered, and we proceeded with the booking because the listing stated that no refunds were allowed. From the first day, we faced serious problems. There was no proper way to access the apartment — no stairs and no way around. We had to climb down a steep slope every time, which was very dangerous. My family and I fell multiple times, and all our belongings got dirty — shoes, clothes, everything. On the last day, I fell badly and injured my arm — it was bleeding. I am attaching a photo as proof. These conditions are completely unacceptable for a property advertised as “VIP.” Instead of a relaxing vacation, we experienced constant danger and discomfort. I am requesting a review of the price we paid and hope to discuss possible compensation considering what happened.

Amazing location ski in/out mountain condo at Northstar Positive: Very clean and cozy mountain side condo providing ski in/out access to Northstar Village via the Condo Run off the Village Run. The condo was very clean, with modern furnishings, full kitchen utensils and large refrigerator. The pull out sofa bed received no complaints from my daughter. The main bed was very comfortable as well. We were able to walk to and from the Village when not snowboarding. We had an amazing weekend of snowboarding and loved this condo. We will be back.

We love staying here. The proximity to the village, the wonderful view out the large window, and the expertly remodeled interior with the thoughtful additions and finishes makes every time we are here wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Positive: Everything was seamless - the information given before arrival, the check-in process = all super easy! The unit was perfect for our family - fantastic location! The added touches were great - coffee, milk, bathrobes, etc - I'd definitely go back!

Loved this place! Very comfortable and extremely convenient to the slopes. Positive: Keyless entry was awesome and convenient! Just had to remember a code to enter.
